After
graduating from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in
Computer Science and Engineering, I wasted no time in getting right to work
with LabVIEW. I found it very intuitive and took to it immediately after
just a week of training.
National
Instruments LabVIEW is a graphical programming language and application
development environment. It is ideally suited for test and measurement
applications and factory automation tasks. National Instruments provides a
full suite of hardware options to meet many application requirements. The
best part is that since the hardware and programming tools come from the
same vendor, they’re made to work with each other.
I have
completed dozens of projects ranging in size from a day to several months,
in lots of different industries and for all kinds of companies. From
automotive to medical devices and from research firms to big production
facilities, I have served it all. I have taught LabVIEW to many students. I
have been certified as a National Instruments Certified LabVIEW Architect.
In
addition to LabVIEW, I have a great deal of experience with TestStand. TestStand
is a test executive engine that enables the developer to make complex tests
from simpler test code. It provides features such as conditional branching
and automatic report generation that take care of many commonly repeated
operations for any test. This lets the developer focus on testing the
product rather than testing the tester. I have taught TestStand to many
students across the country. I have been certified as a National
Instruments Certified TestStand Architect.
I spent
eight years programming LabVIEW and TestStand applications. I know the
entire process of a project, from gathering requirements to developing and
interpreting specifications to designing an appropriate architecture for a
given project to planning and following an orderly approach to development
to debugging to delivering and commissioning a completed system.
Let my
years of knowledge and experience be your benefit. I can play as large or
as small a role as you would like me to in your project or team.
